Air travel has transformed over the years. What used to be a luxury for the privileged class and the uber-rich in yesteryears, is now an affordable and a time-saving mode of travel for all. With the introduction of private players, the inflated airline industry witnessed a spike in the number of passengers travelling for business or pleasure and the movement of freight from one point to another in a matter of hours.

With more people travelling and companies leveraging the airlines for business purposes, the development of airports and aviation elements picked up. And this led to the creation of airport jobs for individuals. The trend is set to continue, with existing airports either being upgraded to improve and decongest air traffic, or new ones being built quickly across India to improve connectivity. As such, there is a need for manpower to fill the void created by the redevelopment of the airline industry.

In the government sector, there are primarily two ways that can help you get an airport job — through the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and Air India. Below, we discuss some of the airport job openings provided by both on Aasaanjobs.
