Bid Manager Job Description (JD)

Required Skills:

Excellent communication skills, as this role will involve communicating with Sales teams, delivery and solutions team. 
End-to-end Bid Management experience in the IT industry for ERP Services
Create responses for RFP/RFI/RFQ and prepare presentation deck for Orals
Must have core competencies on content writing, editing, development, documentation and authoring along with preparation for Orals
Develop and maintain templates for use in developing sections and Oracle Service Line boilerplate.
Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to work under very aggressive deadlines
Experience in working in with matrix organizational structure
Experience in working across multi-technology pursuits involving multiple practice teams including Oracle ERP

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree (technical writing, English, or other major)
8-10 years experience in IT industry with atleast 4+ years in Pre-sales and Bid management roles
Exposure to Oracle ERPs (EBS, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Oracle Cloud Applications)
Fluency in the English language, styles, and conventions, with the ability to master technical concepts and explain them in terms appropriate for the target audience
Fluency in American English and Business Style communication
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with others in writing, editing and reviewing large or complex documents
Experience in interpreting technical estimates and preparing commercial estimates from the technical estimates
Expert in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power-point, Excel), Microsoft Project, Visio
Aptitude for conceptualizing graphics on complex concepts
Experience working in a multi-disciplined team with geographically distributed co-workers
Flexible in working hours can work across shifts
