Microsoft Azure Administrator
TechUnity is looking for Microsoft Azure Administrator who is an integral part of the IT team, responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Azure Active Directory services, along with on premise Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange in a large user, multi-site, enterprise environment. Duties include the daily management, maintenance, and monitoring of our current Active Directory infrastructure, including all Domain Controllers, DNS and other supporting servers like ADFS.
Responsibilities
- Ensures that the environment on premises and synchronization to the cloud is always healthy and that users are properly licensed. This requires resolving issues quickly with minimal direction or oversight.
- Manages and maintains CCCS’s on-premises internal DNS, which runs on Windows servers and is an integral part of the Active Directory infrastructure.
- Works alongside other members of the team to manage, maintain, and monitor on-premises Exchange, including all servers and appliances.
- Monitors message queues, conducts mailbox searches for litigation holds, and remediates malicious activity.

Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of current experience in the following:
- Microsoft Azure Administration in an enterprise environment;
- Microsoft Exchange Administration in an enterprise environment;
- Microsoft Active Directory Administration in an enterprise environment.
- 3 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
- Must have completed Bachelors Degree
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of the Windows operating system and some experience with MacOS, iOS, iPadOS, Android, and Linux operating systems desired.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and experience with the remaining Microsoft Office applications highly desired.
- Experience with current industry technologies is preferred, including, but not limited to:
- Third-party Active Directory management software.
- A solid understanding of Local Area and Wide Area Networks, including their protocols and ports like TCP/IP and DHCP.
- Experience installing, configuring, patching, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
- Various backup solutions.
- Experience configuring and/or administering Exchange version 2010 and later including OWA and IIS.
- Experience configuring and administering Windows Active Directory.
- PowerShell
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.
- Possess an understanding of how project management works and be able to apply it to help balance multiple projects.
