UI/UX Designer
A fantastic opportunity for a passionate and ambitious UI/UX Designer to join a fantastic London based Language Services start-up. To be considered for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate a solid track record of digital product design through the full design lifecycle. You will be confident in how the function of design fits into multi-disciplinary agile teams and be able to make informed decisions in your product designs based on both quantitative and qualitative data and information.
Experience required
2-3 years of demonstrable experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile apps
Show a keen interest in the latest design trends
Through the experience of design across multiple platforms
Have extensive knowledge and skills in communicating concepts
Comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders internally from concept to launch
Conducted user research interviews and usability testing, along with customer workshops
Creation of design artifacts at various levels of fidelity to support development, whether that be wireframes, concepts or prototypes
Knowledge of Design Theory
Skills needed
Great verbal and written communication skills to communicate with stakeholders at all levels across the business
Good knowledge of Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD), Balsamiq,
InVision,
etc.
User research methodologies
Paper sketching/prototyping
Responsive/adaptive design
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (to aid developers)
