Opening For Associate Underwriter For US Mortgage
Principle Responsibilities:
- Complete review of the Borrower profile including credit, income, assets, collateral, compliance, employment
and other lending risks such as guidelines from clients/investors
- Complete review of data consistency across the entire loan package to match system, AUS (DU/LP), Fraud Guard
Reports or any other reports used for compliance or fraud checks
- Complete review of collateral including in depth analysis of appraisal reports, title commitment, fraud risk
checks, insurances documents and sales contract
- Interpret credit policy guidelines and investor guidelines (all FNMA, FHLMC, FHA & VA) and apply them to
specific loans for effective sale in the secondary market
- Maintain a working knowledge of all current underwriting guidelines, federal and state lending laws and has the
ability to comprehensively explain all to others while underwriting the mortgage loan files
- Effectively and quickly communicate any areas of concern with a loan file to mentors/supervisors
- Responsible for Credit and Income documenting all decisions to ensure each underwritten file meets the
company’s credit quality criteria and individual loan product guideline
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures – follow the standard income and assets
calculator, fill the required tools and correctly documents the findings

- Maintaining a track of daily processed transactions and reporting on a timely and accurate manner to
Process Supervisor / Team lead
- To be abreast with all process updates on a timely manner
- Appearing and qualifying all periodic process assessments with defined benchmark scores
- Achieving daily productivity and quality targets
- Adherence to process SLA’s (ensure loan delivery SLA -Service level agreement is not missed)
Desired Candidate Profile
Graduate and or Post Graduate
Fulltime Science/ Commerce/B.Sc IT graduates
No gap in education and employment
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing,
across a variety of audiences
1st class in HSC and Graduation (> 60% Scores) from a reputed university
