Dharma Life is an early-stage social enterprise that works towards bringing inclusive growth to communities living in rural India, through the creation of livelihoods in rural areas and building a market for social impact products that improve the quality of life. We work primarily on six cause areas - access to clean energy, access to clean drinking water, indoor air pollution, nutrition, health and hygiene, livelihood, and lifestyle.
As of June 2014, Dharma Life has impacted over 1 million lives - with a network of more than 2000 village entrepreneurs operating across five states in India (Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Karnataka, and Rajasthan). By 2020, we expect to reach 50 million consumers and have a network of 100,000 Dharma Life Entrepreneurs. Dharma Life has developed as a professional organization making it the rural distribution partner of choice for many organizations such as Johnson & Johnson, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Bata, and Singer among others.
Selected candidate day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Train CSCs in the designated territory
2. Visit and monitor their performance
3. Guide and mentor them
