1-3 years’ experience as Software Tester as per below criteria.
Hands on Experience in Manual/Functional Testing.
Good knowledge on SDLC and STLC life cycles.
Hands on experience in testing the Web and desktop based applications.
Experience in Writing, Execution and Reviews of Test cases and Test Scripts.
Experience in Integration, Regression (automation), and System testing.
Experience on Defect Life Cycle and Bug reporting tools exposure.
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
Good Knowledge on test strategy and test plan.
Experience in Preparing test summary reports.
Solid knowledge of Database like SQL 2008 R2 and above in writing queries from database testing perspective.
Knowledge on Software Testing Tools is an added advantage.
Basic understanding of programming concepts like ASP.Net, C# considered as advantage.
Experience in Selenium Tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Jenkins, Maven, page object model, frame work
Experience in creating automation script and execute Test cases using Selenium WebDriver.
Experience in designing framework.
Knowledge on automation testing using TFS is considered as advantage.
Other Mandatory Skills
Must have good oral and written Communication skills.
Must have experience into SOFTWARE TESTING and Ability to stick to deadlines.
Willing to deliver support in critical needs as per business requirement.
Responsibilities:
Participating in requirements analysis and risk assessment to ensure the software requirements are mapped to business needs.
Collecting Test Data for Data Driven Testing and Creating Test Automation Resources (Function Libraries etc...).
Creating Test Cases (Test Scripts) using Selenium WebDriver, Element locator, Java and TestNG Annotations to perform Functional and Regression Test Automation.
Execute automation scripts on different browsers/environments & report defects/results
Work with development team to identify and capture test cases, ensure version management to implement test strategy.
Developing detailed, comprehensive and well-structured Test cases, to perform Execution of test cases.
Setting up of test environments and perform Manual Testing on all aspects of the product/system like function/component, UI web based.
Perform Integration, Smoke and System testing on the enhanced products/Application.
Reporting of defects with bug tracker.
Perform through automated regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Regular reporting to management about bugs and issues, prepare test summary report.
Support the Independent Verification & Validation test event.
Educational qualification – BE in Computer Science, Information Science, MCA or MTech
