Job description

Responsibilities

  1. Work with founders and executive teams to deliver the vision and goals through tight cooperation and coordination.
  2. Responsible for mapping business objectives to an optimum engineering structure, including correct estimation of resource allocation.
  3. Define architecture & design of systems for the team.
  4. Deliver company’s vision for excellence to the team and inculcate visionary culture to solve business problems.
  5. Mentor and develop leaders within the team, along with this retain the top engineering talent.
  6. Create processes and teams that help monitor infrastructure and produce product support round the clock.
  7. Administer the market position of the company and coordinate with customers and the sales and marketing teams to design effective strategies to improve the same.
  8. Establish methods to improve technology resources for the company and ensure effective product utilization.
  9. Leading development of user end products on top of the core technologies.
  10. Coordinate with the R&D department and prepare plans for the effective integration of various technical skills.
  11. Design strategic plans to provide effective product development.
  12. Facilitate in optimal utilization of various engineering resources and ensure compliance with customer development.
  13. Analyze and document product specifications for various marketing trends.
  14. Coordinate with directors and senior members and ensure appropriate utilization of resources.
  15. Assist the human resource department in the recruitment of staff and ensure the appropriate functioning of the production process.
  16. Prepare an efficient evaluation system for the production process to maximize productivity.

Skills required

  1. Demonstrated Leadership, team building, and leadership skills.
  2. “Out of the box thinker” must be a key driver contributing to the product roadmap and willing to take innovative product risks while balancing the road map for on-time deliverables.
  3. Must have strong architectural, engineering and managerial skills.
  4. Manage diverse, simultaneous projects of varying complexities.
  5. Strong relationship management, strategy development, project management, problem-solving and change management skills.

Core skills:

  1. 8 plus years experience in development, engineering, architecture and leadership.
  2. Hands on experience of developing systems from scratch on cloud is a must.
  3. Proven leadership skills as demonstrated by a track record of leading software development projects.
  4. Prior experience in setting up the engineering team and processes.
  5. Experience in hiring and growing a product development team.
  6. Strong understanding of enterprise applications, business processes and use of latest technology.
  7. Ability to communicate with all involved stakeholders & build strong cohesion.
  8. Managerial skills in scaling the organization and processes that deliver & maintain complex systems.
  9. Up to date with the latest technologies and upgrading architectures. Pioneer in exploring new potential technology choices.
