Job Description: -
- We are looking for a UI/UX + HTML developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming
- You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction.
- Responsibilities will include the translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.
- You will work on UI/UX designs and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working in agile teams, with developers and copywriters.
- Should be a Team Player as well as Team Leader
Responsibilities: -
- Be a great team player, experienced in working with agile teams. Ability to collaborate closely with developers and copywriters.
- Create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods.
- Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design road-map as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. colour theory, visual weight, etc.)
- Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
- Experience using tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, UXPin, Quartz.
- Develop new user-facing features
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Continually keep yourself updated with the latest changes in your industry’s standards.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Requirements: -
- Creative ideas with a problem-solving mindset.
- Good communication skills
- Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
- Familiarity with differences in other HTML5 based views, such as ones in email clients
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Strong knowledge of web and mobile application standards
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Familiarity with differences in other HTML5 based views, such as ones in email clients
- Knack of adhering to best design practices
- Fair understanding of JavaScript programming and DOM manipulation
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/Mercurial/SVN
Qualification & Experience: -
- Graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
- Designer Course would be an added advantage
- Minimum 05 years experience as UI/UX Designer + HTML creative
