Sr. Graphic Designer
An exciting opportunity for a passionate and ambitious Graphic Designer to join a dynamic London based language services start-up. Your role will include producing high-quality artwork across our website, product, company marketing material, and social channels, which reflects our respected position within the language industry. You will be confident on how the function of design fits into multi-disciplinary agile teams and be able to make informed decisions in your designs based on both quantitative and qualitative data. You will also have experience in managing multiple stakeholders and challenging the status quo.
Experience Required
3-5 years of demonstrable experience in Graphic Design
Show a keen interest in the latest design trends
Consistently produce and deliver aesthetically pleasing content for our website, products, social media, email campaigns, brochures, and other marketing material
Ensure visual language and brand identity is consistent throughout digital and print content
Have the ability to create hand-drawn digital art and illustrations that match the company's brand identity
Design wireframes and web/print concepts
Work closely with the Content team for the web design project implementation & project management
Demonstrate continued self-learning and professional development to keep up to date with new design developments and trends
Be comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders internally from concept to launch
Well versed with basic UI/UX design
Skills Needed
Great verbal and written communication skills to communicate with stakeholders at all levels across the business
Creative and collaborative attitude
Understanding of social media and online channels
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work well under time constraints
Good knowledge of Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD), Balsamiq, InVision, etc.
Knowledge of user research methodologies
Paper sketching/prototyping
Responsive/adaptive design
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (to aid developers)
Knowledge of Material Design preferable
Mandate Experience:-
Sr. Graphic Designer candidates must have demonstrable experience in creating hand-drawn illustrations, i.e. they must be able to draw the graphics by hand.
