Primary Responsibilities
• Join an Agile team of skilled DBE’s to maintain, enhance, and tune multi-terabyte data systems
• Help ensure data integrity across multiple clustered data centers using replication
• Work with architects and developers to design efficient schemas and queries used in the Connected Payments
platform
• Work with testing teams to develop and execute Database load and performance tests
• Assist Operations and Delivery teams with Database updates, as well as application schema updates in multiple
production environments
• Design deployment and upgrade plans for on-prem and cloud based Database instances
• Help with new Big Data initiatives for customer client reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities and Duties
Required Qualifications:
• BS in CS or other related disciplined is preferred
• 8+ years of experience as a DBA/DBE
• MS SQL Server 2012+ Experience
• Expert knowledge of SQL internals, indexing, and optimization
• Expert knowledge of query optimization and tuning
• Experience in a high volume OLTP environment
• Experience with SQL monitoring, tracing and debugging techniques
• Knowledge of HA/DR features, techniques and implementation
• Knowledge of DB backup and recovery practices
• Experience with complex schemas and queries, indexing, and optimization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills within a collaborative environment

• Experience working with PCI data environments

• Cloud data – AWS/Azure experience
• Experience with C# application and code support
• Experience with SSDT

• Payment Industry Experience
• Retail, Grocery, Hospitality, and/or POS industry knowledge
