Research and analyze industry-specific facts and figures for creating content (textual, graphical, pictorial) for research-heavy articles and website copy
Write regular language industry-specific articles for the company’s blog and on behalf of the company for various other credible platforms
Create content for web-pages, infographics, case studies, white papers, and other marketing material
Lead the discovery of new topics and areas of editorial expertise for the company, as well as the optimization of existing content - all backed by the latest SEO techniques, research, and tracking tools
Analyze the effectiveness of uploaded content using various analytic tools and software
Show a passion for SEO and current trends but with expertise in writing for people, rather than machines
Help execute the editorial calendar by coordinating with the Content Manager and SEO specialist on targets and delivery
Assist to create and implement an industry-specific editorial strategy, informed by competitor research and reports on the past performance of the content
Create a monthly social media calendar with approval from the Content Manager
Independently troubleshoot technical issues faced while using marketing tools
Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Journalism, Mass Communication or Liberal Arts
Excellent command over spoken and written English communication
3-5 years’ professional experience with demonstrable creative and formal writing skills
Open and clear communication with the team
Great time management skills
Well versed with tools such as WordPress, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Zoho PageSense, and Microsoft Office
