Job brief:
We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential,
crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities:
1.Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
2.Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
3.Direct the distribution of goods and services by assigning sales territories, setting sales goals,
and establishing training programs for the organization’s sales representatives.
4.Also stay in contact with dealers and distributors. They analyze sales statistics that their staff gathers,
both to determine the sales potential and inventory requirements of products and stores and to monitor customers' preferences.
5.Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
6.Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Duties:
Sales managers typically do the following:
1.Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
2.Prepare budgets and approve expenditures
3.Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts
4.Analyze sales statistics
5.Project sales and determine the profitability of products and services
6.Determine discount rates or special pricing plans
7.Develop plans to acquire new customers or clients, through direct sales techniques, cold calling, and business-to-business marketing visits
8.Assign sales territories and set sales quotas
9.Plan and coordinate training programs for sales staff
Requirements
1.Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
2.Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
3.Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
4.Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
5.Strong business sense and industry expertise
6.Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
