The Painting category in UrbanClap was started in 2018. We are trying to solve one of the most unstructured and old businesses in the world. So far, we have had significant success in solving this business and building a strong model for growth. Y-o-Y, the category has grown 4X and is one of the most promising and high growth businesses at UC. We currently have operations in 6 cities - B'lore, Chennai,Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune. With a 200-member strong sales team across these 6 cities, our aim is to become the world's largest home painting company in the world by Dec' 2020.
About the Sales Associate Program:
The first of it's kind sales leadership program at UC is meant to expose candidates to a high performance,high pressure, and target driven culture. This is a 12-month program in which you will be trained on and exposed to best-in-class inside and direct sales techniques. You will be provided a detailed 10-day on-field and classroom training by UC, post which you will be given leads to convert. You will receive on- going support in terms of training, performance visibility, and mentorship. Using technology, inside sales, and consultative sales skills - the candidate will be expected to deliver a very high level of performance and in 12 months move up to the next level within the team.
Detailed responsibilities:
1.Urban Company will provide a detailed 10-day classroom and on-field training to help you understand all the technical details of the category
2.This is a sales role. So, you will be expected to meet multiple clients through the day ranging from anywhere between 2 clients a day to 6 per day
3.You will be expected to travel anywhere between 20kms - 60kms per day to meet clients and understand their requirements
4.You will be expected to use your technical and sales skills to convert clients and provide them a superlative service during and after sales
5.This is a high pressure and high performance team. Your growth in the team will solely depend on your ability to deliver on your sales targets
6.This role requires you to be disciplined (day begins at 8am), smart (every customer is different, you have to be able to think on your feet), hard working (sales is not easy. This is a 6-day a week
job), and inquisitive (you have to constantly upgrade your own knowledge to convert more customers)
Job Requirements:
1.We are looking for Candidates who can Handle work pressure and Target Pressure , who are ready to work for 10-12 HRS/Per Day for their Early Growth and Incentives

4.Own 2-wheeler mandatory
5.6 days working with working weekends
6.Freshers or people with 1-2 years experience in sales
7.Undergrad or MBA degree mandatory
8.Language: English (Required) + Hindi (Required) + Regional Language (Preferred)
9.Maximum 28 years of age
Compensation: Fixed 27,000/- per month + Performance based incentive upto 15,000/- per month
