Job Description: Store Manager
- Trains store staff by reviewing and revising orientation to products and sales training materials
- Attracts customers by originating display ideas; following display suggestions or schedules
- Prepares sales and customer relations reports by analyzing and categorizing sales information; identifying and investigating customer complaints and service suggestions.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Must be familiar with all operations of the store and able to pitch in where needed.
- Consistently exceed the expectations and requirements of both the internal and external customer.
- Provides ongoing sales and product training for the staff to achieve sales goals.
- In addition to assisting the management team in the general operations of the store your key responsibility will be to focus on the jewelry area. You along with the Store Head are the liaison between the store, and the support office. You will work closely with inventory planning and allocation to manage inventory levels in your department.
- Active in product knowledge training of the staff and encouraging a store environment.
- Maintains disciplines for visual standards, store cleanliness.
- Keeps all jewelry in its appropriate location clearly labeled and on display.
- Consistently enforces all company policies and procedures. Performs opening/closing procedures and ensures bank deposits are done daily.
- Keeps open and responsive communication with Store Manager
- Completes other tasks and projects as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Skills such as problem solving and negotiation skills are important for the job as a jewelry store manager.
- They must possess excellent communication skills to be able to handle reports to top management, handling of store personnel as well as store customers.
- They must be able to deal with a variety of different people.
- Being a assistant manager, he must also possess management, administrative and organizational skills.
- Thorough knowledge of the jewelry industry will serve as an advantage as well.
