Research Associate I / Genetic Counsellor / Lab Technician

ADVERTISEMENT FOR AD-HOC POSITION IN DBT FUNDED PROJECT

Eligible & interested candidates are invited for appearing in WALK-IN-INTERVIEW for the below mentioned post on an ad-hoc contractual basis for DBT Funded Project entitled “Establishment of DBT-NIDAN-Kendra for inherited disorders of brain, kidney and heart”.

Project Duration: 3 Years

1. Research Associate–I (Bioinformatics)

Required Qualification & Experience:

1. PhD. in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology/Biotechnology or related subjects with proven ability to carry out NGS data analysis OR PG degree in Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology/Biotechnology or related subjects with 3 years research experience with at least one research paper in SCI journal.
2. Desirable: Experience in NGS data analysis.

Monthly Emoluments: INR 46,800/Month (36000 + 30% HRA)

2. Program Professional/Genetic Counsellor

Required Qualification & Experience:

1. MBBS or Certified Professional with background in human genetics or a postgraduate degree in Genetic  Counselling  like MSc Genetic Counselling
2. With a formal certification in genetic counselling, preferably registered with board of genetic counselling-India\Level I
3. Preferably 1 year experience in genetic counselling

Monthly Emoluments: INR 25,000/month consolidated

3. Lab Technician

Required Qualification & Experience:

1. Diploma in Medical Lab Technology or BMLT or MMLT or Equivalent.
2. Compulsory: Experience in phlebotomy for sample collection and at least 12 months experience in a clinical setting.

Monthly Emoluments: INR 18,000/month consolidated
