Monitoring & maintaining all cost control procedures during projects,
preparing accurate estimates for projects by gathering information, understand the project / program & its requirements
Review and certify estimates, bill of quantities, procurement procedures, contract documents.
Analysing completed work and arranging payment to contractors
Allocating upcoming work to contractors
Site visits, assessments and projections for future work
- Knowledge of contract documents like Specification, BOQ, shop drawings, their interrelationship, RFI ( Request for information ), material inspection, work inspection etc.
- Basic FIDIC (international federation of consulting engineers.) knowledge is essential
- Able to prepare & review BOQ ( Bill of Quantity), Variation and BOQ updation from Design/ Shop Drawings, Cash flow, cost
- management
- Advise the management of the program deviations /delays and prepare documents of Financial impact
- Prepare Details of quantities of all MEP (Mechanical,Electrical,plumbing )trades as per Documents and Code of Practice
- Prepare daily/ weekly cash flow for all the MEP services in line with the master construction schedule &
- prepare the daily/ weekly report
- Prepare periodic cost report for management
- Communicate with other disciplines/QS from Main contractors and Client etc for the billing, measurement etc.
- Good knowledge of Sequence of activities for each element of Works such as first fix Second fix installations
- and final fix
- Should be able to prepare progress Billing and Final Billing and obtain approval from Project authorities
- Experience in pre-contract & post contract QS works
- Should have good communication skill in English to liaise with Consultants and his counter parts
- At least 5 years relevant experience in MEP Quantity Surveying
Supervising and execution of painting works in co-ordination with our site, staff & applicators
- Co-ordination with client's for measurement, Convert in to order and for passing our bills.
- Quantity surveying before & after the coating works
- Co-ordinate with the superiors for getting their approval for the quantity surveyed
- Planning project Execution Schedule & identify men and material with Bar Chart, Histogram, Pie-Chart etc.
