Position : QA Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/ B.Sc/M.Sc (CS)/BCA/MCA
Experience: 4- 6 Yrs
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ability to understand functional requirements, user stories to develop and execute test plan/test cases accordingly
- Perform hands-on manual and automated testing
- Analyze test results and refine test coverage
- Experience testing web applications and working knowledge of basic DB queries
- Hands-on experience developing automated test scripts preferably using Perl/Python, Ruby, shell scripts, etc
- Knowledge of version control tools such as GitHub, SVN/CVS or other equivalent tools.
- Good to have working experience on Linux/Unix/Mac platforms.
- Experience with testing on mobile platforms, Selenium, Cucumber would be a plus.
Skills Required:
- At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance industry with good knowledge of QA concepts and methodology.
- Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good at written and oral communication
- Work experience in a startup company or a product company is a plus
- BS / MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject
