Job Description
Fulfilling the requirements of goods like material, machinery, different equipment, spare part, etc.
Find out and determine suppliers by cross examine rates, quality of material and delivery time.
Keeping close eye on supplier’s performance.
Job Duties
On receipt of requisition engineer has to generate an inquiry to appropriate supplier and take quotes from all.
Once they receive the best suitable quotation then they can finalize the order by comparing them with each other as per rate, quality & delivery time.
Maintaining Price List, Suppliers’ Contact Details
Raising PO in favor of selected Supplier.
Following up with supplier regarding delivery of PO.
Arranging proper mode of transportation considering safety, quick & timely delivery and economical.
On receipt of goods clearing of invoices as per their correctness in a view of Quality Report and PO details.
Clearing payment as per payment terms.
Maintain proper communication between superiors and suppliers in order to convey every bit of details properly before finalizing major/other than granted issue.
Informing superior regarding supplier’s performance.
Always searching for better suppliers.
Skills
Interpersonal and negotiation skill is essential.
Good communication skill with convincing power to crack the best deal.
Being good with written communication.
They must have efficient knowledge about goods available in market.
Candidate must be literate in computer.
Having good planning skills can be favorable.
They must be good with business and material management.
Qualifications
Diploma/Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience procurement engineer are preferable.
Good procurement knowledge is must.
Ability to work as team.

Communication skills.
Must Stay with organization for at least 3 years.
