Job Description


  • Understanding of Project management methodologies – PRINCE2 , P3M, processes and project lifecycle
  • Competent use of project tools e.g. MS Project, Microsoft Office, and MS Access. SQL Scripting, VBA

    • Hands-on Planview and Oracle tools

  • AGILE trained and PRINCE 2 aware/certified

PMO Analyst is responsible for supporting the project governance and control including tracking the performance and progress of projects, project financial control and adoption and compliance with bank-wide change standards. PMO analyst will be playing a proactive role in the promotion of programme and project management methods and standards, implementation of good programme and project management practice, and the monitoring of certain programmes or projects.

Responsibilities (indicative)

  • Support the Programme/Project Management in the implementation of agreed regular progress-reporting mechanisms for all projects and thereby monitor routine progress of projects, and assist the Programme/ Project Manager in the preparation of the programme status/ project highlights reports.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that the requirement are clearly understood and work towards satisfying the agreed objective
  • Worked within the PMO framework to ensure program health check and project governance through implementation of tools (like Planview, Jira, Oracle time and labour etc)
  • Interface and coordinate with Project / Programme Managers to ensure that the desired objectives are met.
  • Adhering to Standards & Processes and delivering the requirements with respect to Governance Processes, P3M framework 
  • Facilitate the creation and update of programme or project plans as required by the Programme/ Project Manager.
  • Support and maintain record management processing line with standard guidelines
  • Provides secretariat activities including meeting minutes, input papers to the meetings, ToRs of the meeting and communications to stakeholders.
  • Ensures and drives quality assurance activities for various project deliverables, maintains project repositories (SharePoint, Share Drive & Central team mailbox) and ensures compliance to established processes.
  • Applies and supports P3M (Portfolio, Programme, Project and Resource Management) standard process by understanding the development lifecycles and minimum mandatory requirements as well as an awareness of Agile and other methodology where appropriate.
  • Establish risk, issue and change-control processes and templates, and assist the programme and project team in its delivery Deliverables (indicative) Governance
  • To work in the programs and project owners for the PMO activities that would include programs 
  • Liaising with various stakeholders with regard to project governance activities.
  • Coordination of multiple governance meetings and prepare MoM’s.
  • Program/Project Coordination and Communications across multiple stakeholders.
  • Creating Reports as Portfolio-level as per P3M standard: Managing risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
  • Prepare Workstream reports and packs from Plainview and Oracle
  • Governance support will be spread across Programme Governance, Project Governance and Release Governance
  • Supporting various Workstream, Program Delivery Board and Sponsoring Group governance and releases.

Quality Assurance

  • RAIDs Assurance – Review of Programme Level RAIDs are created and managed as per P3M and publishing of exception reports.
  • Record Management – Review of Programme Level Records are created and managed as per P3M and publishing of exception reports.
  • Change Request - Review of Programme Level Change Requests are created and managed as per P3M and publishing of exception reports.
  • Timesheet Assurance – Finding the Revenue Leakage against the forecasted efforts on weekly basis and reporting and coordinating with the defaulters.
  • Financial Variance – Review of Micro level financial components within the program to support the creation of micro level financials. Financial Management
  • Managing resource forecasts into Oracle and Planview
  • Financial Management for budgets and forecasts.Automation
  • Hands on experience in creating VBA macros for automated reports in MS-Excel. (10 % of the Work stack)

Quality Dashboard

  • Quality monitoring and enforcement of standards for all of the reports and documents
  • Managing project dashboard documentation (including risk registers, issues, dependencies (milestones), Timesheet, Post PDB / SG actions, Record Management, Change Request)
  • Help new project leads on the internal process know how.
