Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities 

• Responsible for the preparation and processing of monthly global payroll in accordance with payroll deadlines.
• Gather information on hours worked for each employee.
• Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc.
• Receive approval from upper management for payments when needed.
• Ensuring timelines are met for salary disbursement and statutory compliance.
• Processing final payments for terminations and delivering final documentation to the employees according to country requirements.
• Working closely with Human Resources and Legal teams to ensure proper flow of employee data.
• Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks.
• Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper.
• Process taxes and payment of employee benefits.
• Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
• Verification & Reconciliation of monthly payroll
• Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors.
• Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.
