Job Summary
Unboxed looking for a Network & System Admin Who can design and understand the complete network system for Unboxed’s 250 people coworking space in Noida. The role involves ensuring seamless services of network system & Internet distribution and to ensure service requests for network problems are dealt with in a timely and consistent manner.
Roles & Responsibilities
Understanding & upgrading existing Network system
- Understanding design, implementation, and support of a robust and resilient network system currently in place at Unboxed Coworking.
- Utilize existing and identify new technologies, solutions, and services that deliver on the network and connectivity requirements of our Members and Team Members.
- Leverages existing and emerging technologies to develop solutions to improve the performance of the overall Network infrastructure
- Onsite installation, configuration and testing of network infrastructure equipment for expansions;
- Configuring and testing normal operations and failover situations
Maintenance & regular check – for ensuring smooth operations
- Responsible for ensuring the proper day-to-day operations of the network system.
- Network monitoring like traffic analysis, network usage and allocation of the bandwidth.
- Use your skills and knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure that the networking equipment is installed and configured correctly before members start using the space.
- Actively monitors the network health and identifies and proposes solutions to potential problems before they happen
- Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor
- sets up test environments to test new networking ideas or projects to improve our current Infrastructure
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of technical documentation to ensure it is updated and current.
Troubleshooting & Customer Support
- Provide seamless integration for new members to the existing system when they join
- Monitors the Networking helpdesk queue and ensures tickets are assigned and tickets owned are resolved as quickly as possible
- Provide prompt support to all members with the troubleshooting and resolution of LAN & Wireless Network issues
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of corporate experience (installation, configuration, and support)
- Network specialist in switching, routing, troubleshooting, Installation, and configurations of Cisco, CCR Router/switches.
- Experience with Network Performance Tuning, LAN Knowledge, Network Design and Implementation
- Knowledge of Manageable and unmanageable switches, Routers.
- Basic Knowledge of Windows Server 8,12,16
- Basic Knowledge of MS Office 10,13,16,19
- Knowledge of Windows OS 7,8,10 & Linux OS
- Basic Knowledge of Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP)
- Proficiency in the use of computer programs: Word processing, Database, Spreadsheets, E-mail, Internet
- Ability to manage multiple, often competing, priorities and tasks and follow through to completion on deadlines
