hospital is currently seeking a Radiographer to join their team of healthcare professionals. With a qualification in radiography and experience and qualification in MRI. You will be seeking an opportunity
to work as part of a friendly and dynamic team in Ireland.
Job Summary:
You will need to be confident with excellent communication skills. You will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced team of Radiographers and undertake a varied workload covering consultant clinics, ward and theatre patients in an autonomous way.
Responsibilities:
Perform MRI/CT imaging in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the individual site Radiologist.
Complete and sign Patient Screening forms and explain the procedure to the patient.
Maintain patient care, comfort and safety during transport to and from the coach and during the exam.
Maintains technical competency through continued education and participation in company sponsored training programs.
Under guidance and approval of site Radiologist, administers contrast agents according to site- specific protocols.
Performs additional duties as required.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong Communication Skills
Qualifications:
BSc (Hons) degree in Radiography in MRI.
Must have 2 years post graduate experience.
CORU Registration
Member of Irish Institute of Radiography and Radiation Therapy (IIRRT) will be an added advantage.
