Looking for a Design Engineer who will be responsible for converting the design intent/ Sketches and renderings into 3D CAD models and 2D drawing.
The Design Engineer will work hand in hand with the Designer, Product Engineer and Manufacturer of goods to complete the design and development loop.
Key Qualifications:
Good 3D modeling skills and a knowledge of the industry best practices is required.
Sound understanding of Sheet- metal and surface modeling techniques.
Must be familiar with Pro- E/ CATIA or SOLID WORKS modeling and drafting softwares.
Should be familiar with DFM and DFA concepts.
Strong understanding of Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is preferred.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic start up environment where there is strong focus
on solving problems and developing great products.
Fluency in English is a must and Travel is required.
Description:
Construct 3D models that are built as per the industry best practices.
Incorporate the DFM and DFA concepts in the models.
Perform Tolerance stack up and detailed 2D drawings for Manufacturing.
Support Rapid prototyping, FEA analysis with separate 3D model creation if necessary.
Be a part of the product development team participating in Design reviews and design revisions.
Should understand the design language and intent and be capable of converting them into a workable design.
