Manual + Automation QA Analyst Role – 3 to 5 years of experience
Participate in test activities which include: design, develop and execute test strategies/plans; perform impact and gap analysis;
• Participate in Release/Iteration Planning & Ensure User Stories are testable and measurable
• Identify and communicate risks and issues
• Create test cases ensuring alignment with standards
• Verify the availability of the QA environment for testing
• Ensure that all system tests are successfully completed and documented and all problems are
resolved
• Support all quality initiatives that are implemented during each Sprint
• Conduct tests and analyze results to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified
• Knowledge of network infrastructure components and concepts
• Work with upstream and downstream application teams to create & execute test cases
• Assist in the development, maintenance, and the provision of training on testing procedures
• Ability to build good relationships both within the QA & Test team and with other teams
• Excellent knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle including Functional & Non-
Functional Test Phases
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to work and team effectively with clients and other personnel across geographies
• Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
• Team Player
• Good communication (Verbal and Written)
• In-depth knowledge of QA testing procedures and theory
· API Testing(SOAP/REST),
· RUBY with CAPYBARA
Good to Have
• Working Knowledge / experience on Selenium is preferable
Education:
• College graduate
• Computer Science Degree (Bachelors)
• A Bachelor's degree in IT and/or related field or equivalent experience
Certification Requirements:
• ISTQB – Desired but not required – Will need to obtain ISTQB Foundation Certification
