Job description

Manager EHS at Goa with Leading Pharma company.

Qualification : Post Graduate / BE with specialization in Safety

 

1.Lead EHS Regulatory Compliance  - Provide guidance to site managers and employees, conduct internal and support external audits, to ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.

2.Implementation of Standards - Lead the implementation of regulatory and Teva requirements in collaboration with relevant department managers to ensure the site’s overall compliance. Analyze, interpret and communicate EHS requirements, in a simple manner so that they can be understood and implemented by all stakeholders

3.Internal / External Walkthroughs, Audits, Inspections - Initiate plans for, support site managers in the conduct of, and carry out internal environmental, health and safety reviews, identify deficiencies and implement plans.

4.EHS by Design - Ensure the integration of EHS by design in all process development, changes to existing processes, equipment according to our CAPEX process. Participate in the approval of new installations and machines; work closely with Engineering to define optimal solutions that will achieve EHS by design.

5.Assess and Mitigate Risks - Identify EHS risks and define proactive mitigations. Ensure that site investment and changes in processes, equipment and systems are carried out in accordance with the concepts of EHS by design and relevant EHS requirements and cGMP.

6.Design and Implement Annual EHS Plan - In collaboration with the site leadership team, create, implement, monitor and update the site EHS plan.

7.Monitor, Analyze and Share EHS Information - Provide necessary information and data to site managers and supervisors, Global EHS and other internal and external stakeholders, in order to support the achievement of EHS objectives.

8.Promote a Sustainable EHS Culture - Create and maintain an EHS culture throughout the site that inspires a proactive attitude and a firm belief that ‘target zero’ is achievable. Create a space where people can speak openly and are encouraged to present new ideas about EHS stewardship.

9.Provide Expertise, Guidance, Coaching and Training - Develop and implement training programs, provide coaching, expertise and guidance to managers and employees of the site

10.Lead Continuous EHS Improvement - Lead continuous improvement in EHS using Operational Excellence principles and visible-felt leadership to achieve 'target zero' goals and to enable compliant operations and business effectiveness

 

12.Review URS and other documnets for ensuring EHS complaince

13. To prepare and motivate employees to follow the safety rules, systems & procedures to take care of the Health & Safety of themselves, others and the environment.

14. Liaisioning with the statutory bodies as and when required

15.Data integrity compliance - to ensure compliance to the requirements of policy and procedures on Data integrity.
