Functional Heads to understand technology needs and identify and deliver solutions to meet their needs.
To identify the new technologies / tools to support the ICT strategy implementation.
To plan budget for IT activities across the business units and locations along with the annual budgeting process.
To support IT operations and maintain zero downtime through efficient processes and SLAs.
To be the custodian of the company’s intellectual property, information, data, infrastructure, network systems, hardware/software systems by implementing a sound security and access control framework.
To set policies and procedures that act as guidelines for continuous automation of efficiency gaps.
Manage day-to-day end user IT operations including downtime, reporting SLA, defining and tracking IT operations metrics and provide status to management.
Deploy and manage IT support model to concern departments.
Manage network and security landscape.
Should be aware of laws and regulations in IT infrastructure and telecommunication in India. Will need to take the ownership of compliance and audit for the company.
Responsible for customer interaction on IT infrastructure and network security and ensuring all requirements are met in a timely manner.
Manage the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies.
Responsible for forecasting future requirement and finding best practices for the company, accordingly planning, budgeting and allocating, implementation and administration of complex IT Infrastructure project
Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency
Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management
Coordinate IT managers, supervise computer technicians and other professionals to provide guidance
Assist in building relationships with clients and creating cost-efficient contracts
