Job Description
The client, a stealth mode product company is looking to hire a passionate Industrial/Product Designer to design next generation of lifestyle and consumer products
As a designer, you will work directly with the founders to ideate and create products with design thinking principles. You will coordinate with strategic outside partners and
cross-functional teams within Selasfora to build world class products.
As a Designer you will be required to:
-Follow Design Thinking Principles
-Follow Design leads, Engineering follows approach
-Have strong bias towards international markets and design language
-Search, Research and Identify products and categories to improvise
-Have Problem Solving, Simplify, User Driven Approach towards product and design
-Use Creative, Innovative, Functional and Aesthetically Appealing product building process
-Work with internal and external teams to resolve design, engineering and manufacturing issues
-Build IP and Patentable Products
Ideal candidate should:
-Undergraduate degree, postgraduate degree or higher national diploma in industrial design or product design
-3-5 years of relevant work experience with strong work portfolio
-Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, CAD, SolidWorks, Keyshot, etc
-Have technical knowledge and understanding of CMF and Manufacturing processes
-Have a good eye for detail, shape and colour
-Be methodical, with ability to work with little or no direction
-Have the ability to cope with pressure of deadlines
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
