JOB DESCRIPTION:-
- Monitoring site production to ensure orders are completed on time and in full
- It is their responsibility to ensure all goods are accounted for each shipment, and to ensure each shipment arrives on time.
- Delivers items to customers by verifying orders.
- Ensuring products are dispatched on time, using specialist transport and in accordance with quality requirements
- Managing and motivating a team of staff, ensuring an effective distribution operation
- Verifies items shipped by matching bills of lading, reconciling quantities, and noting discrepancies.
- Keeps customers informed by forwarding notice of item availability, shipment date and method, and current status; answering questions.
- Protects the organization’s reputation by keeping pricing, promotion, purchase order, and credit-limit information confidential.
