Functional Area: Sales/ Business Development Responsibilities
• Responsible for managing and overseeing the fare filing activities and liaise with head office to ensure proper distribution to industry partners
• Monitor and report of filing volume and performance
• Handle group bookings
• Generation of sales report
• Market support and troubleshoot to ensure a seamless flow of information and smooth collaboration with relevant key stakeholders
• Handle special tasks assigned by General Manager and ad hoc analysis/report
• Responsible for direct sales to meeting the service level and sales target
• Handling necessary processes for travel agencys ticketing transactions
• Understand customers need to propose best alternatives in terms of pricing/routing
• Inform customer via suitable communication
channel for any changes of flight schedule
• Learn and adherence to clients procedures, programs and policy guidelines Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree or higher in any field
• At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in airlines/tourism business is preferably
• Hands on knowledge of GDS system Amadeus is highly preferred
• Reservation and ticketing experience with international or domestic airlines.
• Understanding in international travel requirements and destination knowledge
• Strong communication skills in English and local language is mandatory
• Excellent customer service and ability to market product & services to clients
• Work under pressure and multi-task while maintaining professional rapport with clients
• Good PC literacy skills in Word, Excel, Internet browsing
• Good personality and appearance
