Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the design and architecture of functional prototypes and production ready systems
2. Uses open source frameworks as appropriate Django Preferred
3. Develops Python and JavaScript code as necessary
4. Python development to support middleware for REST API
5. Communicate technical concepts with trade-offs, risks, and benefits
6. Evaluate and resolve product related issues
Requirements
1. Demonstrable experience writing clean, thoughtfully crafted Python or PHP that scales
2. Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS3
3. Good understanding of REST API's and experience in building them.
4. Experience on asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
5. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
6. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / Mercurial / SVN
7. Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
