Do you have it in you to make a platform that runs any and every kind of FMCG store that exists out there?

• Imagine a platform/ product that needs to work across languages for all store sizes and configurations - from 100 sqft to 5K sqft, single person to 20 members, doing 200K to 1Cr+ monthly sales
• Now, imagine that it needs to tackle tens of thousands of products across each shop to maximize sales and ROI
• Did we mention that it needs to address merchandising and planograms across all stores?

About us: EDLP Retail is an early-stage startup in the B2B space, founded by IIT, IIM, ISB alums with 40+ years of experience, including entrepreneurial and startup experience with angel investments from founders of some of the largest B2B startups among others.

The idea is to change the retail sector, by changing the way a retailer operates his shop- merchandising, planograms, ROI, Inventory Management etc. - to create an omni - channel aggregate that is more powerful than giants of online and offline retail, yet retains the flavor of the neighbourhood store! 

Never before has this been attempted at the scale we are attempting and in the product-centric approach we are taking. 

What we're looking for:

The Co-founders (Ashish, Aditya, Rupesh, and Barun) embarked on this journey 6 months back, working in Bangalore. 

We have started getting very encouraging traction with retailers and are gradually building our team. 

As we build, we are looking for bright & energetic folks who are willing to take a shot at solving an exceptionally difficult problem, to grab a piece of the biggest opportunity in India! 

Needless to say, those who embark upon this journey, will be looking at disproportionate returns as the ideas keep turning to reality and keep driving the venture ahead at a breakneck pace. 

What you’ll do:

You will be a part of a team that will form the core of Tech team in EDLP and develop the whole product from scratch

• You will be involved in developing a truly scalable product to automate the sourcing, logistics and retailing processes
• You will also be imparting intelligence to the system to handle stocked out products (Efficient replacement based on product attributes), introduction of new products based on selling pattern of the Retailer 
• You will be designing Database architectures to efficiently manage and interpret large data coming from thousands of customers and perform operations on the same 
• You will be part of developing several business applications to scale the business such as:
• Consumer Application
• Sourcing and Procurement App
• Warehouse and inventory management App
• Sales and Distribution App

We are looking for passionate Full stack Developers with Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / IT from Tier 1 engineering institutes. Minimum experience required is 2 to 4 years in Application development

We expect the candidate to have hands-on experience in following (but not limited to) technologies:

• Python, Flask
• HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• SQL and ORMs
• Database modelling
• Full stack application architecture
