About Painting Category at Urban Company
The Painting category in Urban Company was started in 2018. We are trying to solve one of the most unstructured and old businesses in the world. So far, we have had significant success in solving this business and building a strong model for growth. Y-o-Y, the category has grown 4X and is one of the most promising and high growth businesses at UC. We currently have operations in 6 cities – B’lore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune. With a 200-member strong sales team across these 6 cities, our aim is to become the world’s largest home painting company in the world by Dec’ 2020.
About the Sales Associate Program:
The first of its kind sales leadership program at UC is meant to expose candidates to a high performance, high pressure, and target driven culture. This is a 12-month program in which you will be trained on and exposed to best-in-class direct and inside sales techniques. You will be provided a detailed 10-day on-field and classroom training by UC, post which you will be given leads to convert. You will receive on-going support in terms of training, performance visibility, and mentor ship.
Using technology, inside sales, and consultative sales skills – the candidate will be expected to deliver a very high level of performance and in 12 months move up to the next level within the team.
