• Perform system administration activities with respect to Exalogic Server Administration like - applying patches, configuring and allocating resources, monitoring the hardware and software components Perform OS Administration (Linux or Solaris) activities like
Configuring users, creating and maintain file systems, backup, etc
• Experience in configuring and administering OEM for monitoring various components
• Experience in configuring Exalogic Server with Exadata Server and knowledge of Infini band network connectivity
• Experience in configuring and using ILOM in depth networking knowledge e.g. fabrics (preference to Infiniband), vlans, switches, etc
• Unix system administration experience, in depth kernel knowledge RAC administration (Storage appliances, switches, ILOMs and cabling), installation and configuration
• Shell/ Perl/Python scripts experience
• Effective trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of core support processes and change management, maintain documentation standards
• Should be good team player and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Help design, maintain, improve and implement monitoring tools.
• Manage routine Database Backup procedures and disaster recovery procedures.
• Work with Onsite teams and collaborate.
