Typing will be of academic content and involve language, Mathematical equations, Science equations, Special characters and symbols. Therefore, the applicant should be comfortable with Microsoft Word and Latex. Knowledge of software like Corel Draw for diagrams is an added plusIf you can type fast (50 WPM) and accurately and can check documents for grammar, spelling and punctuation errors under tight deadlines, we’d like to meet you. For this role, it’s essential to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.Role and Responsibilities
(1) Type academic data from paper formats into digital files (MS Word, etc.)
(2) Type Mathematical equations, Science equations, Special characters and symbols using Latex
(3) Edit completed work with correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation
(4) Create diagrams in Coral Draw or similar software
Requirements:
2 years of work experience as a Typist or Data Entry operator
Fast typing skills
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft word or other similar software
Excellent knowledge of Latex or other software for typing equations
Strong English language skills
Attention to detail with ability to spot grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
