Job Designation: Desktop Support Engineer
Job Role:
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Providing technical support across the company
- Setting up accounts for new users
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Testing new technology
- knowledge of all the desktops operating systems like XP, Win7, Win 8 , installation of operating system.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, knowledge of all branded desktops,
- Email configuration, know how to take email backup / Ms Outlook configuration
- Antivirus / Security patches management activity knowledge
- Provide first level support to server issues, server monitoring . Know how to create users in AD and provide rights etc.
- Vendor coordination / site Asset Inventory management etc.
- Taking backup of critical users data / server backup etc.
Experience: 1 to 2 Years
