Mechanical Design Engineer
Tasks:
• New product development - automation machines
• Rapid prototyping - knowledge of 3dprinting and other rapid prototyping methods
• Mechanical components sizing and selection - bearings, ball screw, timing belt/pulley, motors, etc
• Knowledge of GD & T
• Reverse engineering
• Should be sound in concepts of design for Manufacturing & Assembly
• Basic knowledge of Finite element analysis
• 3d CAD software - Solidworks, Autocad
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Good communication skills
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
