This position is responsible for managing and delivering Business Intelligence dashboards, Analytical projects and frameworks for AJIO.com. The role involves working closely with Executive and Functional leaders and teams to build and maintain KPI metrics dashboards, setup functional/ operational scorecards and decision-making frameworks, undertake analytics projects, and proactively share insights & actionable recommendations
Roles & Responsibilities:
Business Analytics
• Translate business needs into analytical problems, and work with functional SPOCs to deliver data-driven actionable recommendations and frameworks for decision making
• Identify, own and deliver high impact cross-functional analytical projects, such as improve customer conversion & retention by segmentation based targeting
• Represent BI & Analytics team in decision-making related to sales, planning and strategy
Business Reviews
• Present insightful weekly and monthly business review presentations that summarizes data on overall business and financial performance, and help facilitate decision-making for senior management
• Identify and monitor important metrics/KPI for each function – Marketing, Category, Planning, Product and Operations and present the trends in business reviews
Reports, Dashboards & Decision Making Framework
• Work with functional owners to identify information needs and develop concise reports; primary stakeholders include the marketing, category, product team, business operations and supply chain, as well as Customer service and Finance teams
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) of BI & Analytics requirements
• Deliver BI Dashboards & Reports (Tableau and Google Analytics based) across all functions to support the decision making process
• Project management of reporting and dashboard requirements and identify improvements/enhancements to existing dashboards
RCAs, Alerts
• Produce timely, accurate and effective root cause analyses and reporting of KPI trends and help identify clear set of action items
• Capture and prioritize hypotheses for further analysis by Business Analytics and Product teams which might help us further build on a positive momentum or arrest the stagnant or negative trend in important metrics
• Set up automated business alerts to proactively highlight variations in business metrics
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Familiarity with KPIs and industry benchmarks used to evaluate internet businesses; preferably in the Ecommerce and Retail space
• Ability to handle data – Data mining and reporting from SQL/NoSQL databases & advanced Excel skills
• Exposure to Web analytics and has hands on experience with tools like Google Analytics
• Excellent presentation and data visualization skills. Experience working with visualization tools like Tableau
• Basic understanding of Statistics & Hypothesis testing
• Must have excellent organizational skills and demonstrate great attention to detail
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Qualification & Experience
• B.E. + MBA, preferably from IIM
• Minimum 2 years of BI, Reporting & Analytics experience supporting an online or digital business; preferably from ecommerce or consulting background
