Roles & Responsibilities:
● Provide management & support for cloud solutions and AWS services for Pivotree’s MDM customers and application support teams.
● Contribute to the development of DevOps principles to facilitate the management of public cloud and code deployments for Pivotree and Customers
● Responsible for maintaining 24/7 support across services
● Ability to work/collaborate with offshore vendors and consultants.
● Work with the Security & Compliance group to establish security standards and maintain PCI status.
● Be part of x-functional teams to deliver cloud solutions to customers and continuously improve work
● Participate in automating all the things
● Able to occasionally work out of hours and be part of an on-call support rotation
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
● 4+ years’ experience operating workloads in AWS and/or Azure.
● Previous experience with workloads in GCP is good to have.
● Previous experience in supporting or implementing Product Information Management (PIM) and Master Data Management (MDM) platforms (e.g. Stibo, Enterworks, Contentserv, Informatica, Riversand etc.) is desirable.
● 4+ years’ experience in Windows and/or Linux engineering or administration
● Previous experience in configuring, maintaining and designing monitoring solutions in tools such as New Relic, Zabbix, Datadog and etc. is a plus.
● Prior experience leveraging Infrastructure as Code to manage public cloud workloads
● Experience in building infrastructure-centric apps using contemporary languages (e.g., Python)
● Solid customer centricity and customer service skills
● General knowledge of cloud-centric architectures and technical standards
● General knowledge of agile software development concepts and processes
● Relevant certifications from AWS, Azure or GCP are good to have
● Experience with Atlassian tools - Jira, Confluence, Opsgenie
● General knowledge of IT processes - incident management, change management, etc.
● A solid understanding of networking technologies
● Experience in supporting and deploying Java and PHP platforms in Windows and Linux.
