Job Summary:
We are looking for a Drafter to work with our team of Architectsand Engineers and convert designs into technical plans.
Drafter responsibilities include gathering drawings and specifications, preparing shop drawings, calculating material and equipment requirements and setting up production methods. If you have hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software and are familiar with building processes.(Facade & Glazing Industry)
Responsibilities and Duties:
Draft and prepare layout drawings of the given structures, components and devices.
Produce draft designs and drawings according to the given specifications.
Prepare shop drawings as per the Plan and Elevation.
Co-ordinate with Client / Architect to get the approval on shop drawings.
Explain/Guide/Brief/Train the site supervisors, fitters so that we will get the desired results at site as per drawing & as briefed by client.
Time to time visit the site to cross check the work & explain site supervisor if any hindrance.
Collaborate with designers, constructors and engineers on projects.
Compile data and specifications sheets.
Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements.
Accommodate safety procedures and issues in installation and construction drawings.
